EPIC DOING OF THINGS

September 26, 2008

This week, we’ve got it all figured out: we’re showing the EPIC doing of THINGS.

… In retrospect, there is probably a better way to introduce what we are watching this week, but… I’ve got nothing.

This week, we are watching:
Initial D
and
Bartender

Fantastic Parodies

September 19, 2008

This week, we are watching parodies of the classic Dungeons & Dragons tropes. Except these are well done(for sufficiently punny values of done)… as opposed to done like the “classic” Dungeons & Dragons animation, released by some American company.

Slayers

Those Who Hunt Elves

Again, we are meeting in Murray 114, 7-9 PM. Bring your friends, bring a jacket! It’s getting cold. We also highly encouraged good critiques of failings in the shows. :3

Officers’ Picks!

September 12, 2008

This Friday, we are watching:

Haibane Renmei
Karin (aka Chibi Vampire in the TokyoPop manga release)
Rozen Maiden
Martian Successor Nadesico

With possible order change, if we feel like it.

Come enjoy some anime with the rest of us from 7 to 9 PM, at Murray 114, on College Avenue!

We’ll probably take a little break a bit after 8.

Involvement Fair

September 7, 2008

So, anyone see us at the Rutgers Involvement Fair today?

Unfortunately, we were not able to reserve a table early, so we did not know where we were going to set up. But set up we did. We even handed out some quartercards. Because you might not have seen them, let me show them to you.

As you can see, JCA is meeting on Fridays, from 7 to 9 PM. We’re in Murray Hall 114, on College Avenue. Unfortunately, that’s a classroom. It’s nicely ACed, but the chairs are not the most comfortable. We seem to have the worst luck in getting nice chairs. At least the room is fairly sizable and climate controlled.

Unlike our last room in Scott Hall.

We should be getting some new editors for this blog, as soon as my fellow officers start registering for wordpress.

Anyway, have a safe week!
